Learning is a high-agency decision and important to our company’s goals.

You will be provided an annual learning allowance up to Rs. 30,000. This can be spent towards online courses, programs, coaching, mentorship programs, books, subscriptions, or anything else that you feel will provide necessary learning experiences.

Post your compatibility period, a base amount of Rs. 10,000 becomes active for all employees by default. There are opportunities to top-up this allowance to Rs. 30,000 per year by sharing your learnings with your colleagues at Talented through presentations and workshops conducted by you. We always aim to spend our money wisely, so consider the pros and cons. Does Talented benefit from the fact that someone is spending time and money in the area of choice? Does this fit in someone's personal development path at Talented? Does it match their personal goals? Does it match the role and responsibilities? Does this open them up to new experiences that can add value in their current work?

After this, we leave it to you to let us know if you think it’s reasonable to expense this. A good control question is if you would spend the money on this if it was your own. The rest is just common sense. If you still have doubts about whether or not to expense something, just ask.
