Working with AI at Talented

AI isn’t on the sidelines of what we do anymore. It’s front and center in the room with us - shaping how quickly ideas can come to life, how creatively stories get told, and how brands connect with the world.

Whether it’s writing, research, strategy, production, or pitch support, AI tools are no longer just optional extras. They’re positioned to feel like creative teammates.

At Talented, we want to treat AI the way we treat most things: with curiosity, some caution, and a whole lot of imagination.

This isn’t about replacing people. It’s about expanding our capacity of how much we can achieve with our time, and focusing on work that really matters. Doing more, not doing the same with less. The most exciting & innovative companies today aren’t just using AI, they’re building with it, structuring teams around it, and creating space for it in their process. That’s what we want to do too.

What does this mean for you?

We’re gradually rethinking how we operate - with AI as a quiet partner alongside our people. You’ll see that show up over time in who we hire, how we brief, how we review work, and how we make decisions.

Here’s how we’re supporting every teammate to explore this space

(for now & this will continue to evolve as advancements come in):

1. AI Upskilling Fund

Our previous L&D budget is reworked into what we’re calling the AI Upskilling Fund to help you experiment, learn, and adopt tools that power your creativity. Here’s how it works:

As a starting point, we recommend the ChatGPT Plus plan ($20/month). It’s a good foundation for most creative workflows.

2. Build your fluency

We believe that AI nativity - a comfort and fluency with how AI works - is going to be a key creative skill. Whether you’re a designer, writer, strategist, or account lead, we encourage you to bring AI into your work process. Use it as an editor, co-writer, researcher, or brainstorm partner.

3. Help shape how we use AI

This is new terrain, and we’ll learn together. If you come across a tool that’s helped you work better - or raised new questions - we want to hear about it. We’ll keep this policy fluid, responsive, and evolving as the tech (and our use of it) grows.
