You didn’t read that wrong. People are ideas, aren’t they? We are all someone’s idea to make this agency great. So the good news- dear idea, is we already believe in you. We think you can do your life’s best work here. And your journey will be only about proving people right, not proving them wrong.
At Talented, we don’t want to just be an ambitious, world-class, creative company. We want to be an ambitious, world-class, creative company with a big heart. As we build this company together, we're keen that everyone who joins us understands our core values and helps us build a workplace we can all be proud of. That’s where this handbook comes in.
It is the result of months of research, thoughtful debate, and serious introspection among contributors from across our company. It’s meant to offer you insights into who we are as an organisation & answer the fundamentals clearly. Why do we exist? What’s our role in the market? How do we work with others and with each other? How do we engage in the community? How do we give each other and the clients & partners who work with us the best agency experience of their lives?
We know that everything on here might not be perfect, but we believe it’s a great place to start. To further one of our early ambitions to maximise transparency in how we work, we’ve also decided to make this document public. Expect a lot of vulnerability and a few stutters as we try all sorts of stuff while trying to get it right. This is equally your company now, so your suggestions & feedback are not just welcome but encouraged.
We may have already considered diverse perspectives to get here, but it’s likely we’re missing many more. There’s always room for improvement. Therefore this handbook will be a living document that will continue to evolve as we learn from you and all else that’s changing in our work-life. We’ve borrowed generously from company handbooks we admire like Blendle, Obvious, etc. and will adapt as we go. So, whatever version of this handbook you’re reading now, you can be sure it’s not the last. In the meanwhile, turn to it to execute your talent to its best potential.
